About Dr. Paul Epstein
For over 30 years, Dr. Paul Epstein has been a leading voice bringing awareness to the mind-body connection and its extraordinary role in healing.
Whole Person Healing
Passionate about the opportunity for profound awakening and true healing that pain and illness present when the whole person (body, mind and spirit) is included in the healing process, Dr. Epstein believes that the goal in treating patients should not be to silence the symptom. Instead, he advocates looking at the symptom from a new perspective.
In his practice, Dr. Epstein integrates naturopathic medicine with life-changing mind-body therapies including narrative medicine, mindfulness meditation, stress reduction techniques, Buddhist psychology, and contemplative psychotherapy. He mixes the appropriate blend of methods to meet each patient’s specific needs. He has a long history of successfully treating patients with chronic diseases and serious health challenges.
Sharing His Wisdom Worldwide
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Epstein travels worldwide, lecturing and presenting workshops. He is a sought after presenter for all of the major Naturopathic and holistic medicine organizations and schools throughout the US and Canada. Dr. Epstein is a faculty member at the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM), and teaches in their Interprofessional Fellowship program.
Happiness Through Meditation helps readers on the journey to happiness by introducing the principles of meditation and the potential for joy within. Each chapter begins with simple meditation instructions and guided meditations. Arranged by theme and practice, readers might pick one meditation to practice and contemplate throughout each day.
“Meditation is a training of the mind and can create new pathways to lasting peace and happiness in the ‘neuroplastic’ brain.”
~Dr. Paul Epstein, Mind-Body Integrative Medicine Pioneer
